    fanuc 0t 416 alarm need help

    I am new to cnc. Recently, I replace pulse coder for x-axis. Everything seems to work fine. Except, sometiems when I hit estop, I get alram 416 (not every time). Anyone has any ideas what is happening and how to fix it. Help please!

    The 416 alarm means"Position detection system fault in the n–th axis
    pulse coder (disconnection alarm)."So you should check the line.

    When you press Emg Stop During that type 24 V control Circuit break , So that time the TTL voltage of The Encoder/Pulsecoder Drops , So it forget The A A BAR Z Z BAR , Check the Feed back cable of Pulse coder at Both End , Loose connection , and +5V Vcc supply
