We have the option list for that control; the forum rules don't allow me to post the option parameters (I am not sure-is that true?). Call me at 289 389 6117 9am-5pm EDT.
I have a YAM CK-2 that had parameter #0 changed accidentally and there is no backup copy, I just got the machine in this condition and got a copy of the parameter list from a CK-5. The CK-5 is a larger machine and was made 39 machines earlier than mine, how do I know if the parameters should be the same and if not how do I know what changes should be made? Is there an instruction list for what each bit in the parameter controls? Paramters 1 - 5 are the same as on my machine.
As a side question, not as important but I'd like to know, is there any way to find out if this machine had more canned cycle options than mine, apart from trying to change each parameter that is different than mine?

I tried the parameters from the list and can now get the spindle turning with MDI but can anyone tell me what all bits of that parameter do? This parameter obviously controls the spindle motor but the lathe had two optional spindle drives, a 10 and a 15 hp drive, while I recognize that the parameters won't make a 10 hp into a 15 hp drive, could there be detrimental effects on the drive if the wrong parameters are used? Or unexpected results from a command because it controls more than the spindle drive?
BTW, the canned cycles I'm missing are all the 70 series, multi-pass ones, roughing, finishing, peck drilling and threading.
Thanks memoryman, your advice helped clear up a few issues
