Parameter to mute buzzer

Hey folks

My work had a new machine installed recently and the buzzer is starting to wind me up! Control is fanuc 31i. Does anyone know what the parameter to switch off the call light and buzzer is?

I've had a look through te manual but can't find it so any help is welcome.

It's never in the Fanuc side. It's the Machine builder that puts those in. Post machine type and maybe someone can help you.

The screw driver and a hammer parameter usually works.

The machine is a Hyundai Kia KBN135 horizontal borer, hoefully someone will have the answer!

if a small piezo buzzer its usually visible on the panel above the screen (depending on machine model)
there are 2 ways to kill it.
one is find out where it's connected and simply disconnect it.
if not accessible get a nail and pierce the buzzer. it'll be much quieter after that I guarantee
there may also be a potentiometer near it. just turn it..... that's the volume knob
