Do you have a manual that specifies what M82 is used for?
Stevo
Hello i have yang smv 1000 with fanuc 0md
every thing works will until i changed my spindle bearings
the machine is no longer changing tools
the broplem is that the cursle do not come to take tool
it begin to read the 9020 macro
and when it reach M82 the machine keep waiting with no action untill error comes
i tried to put M82 ,M81, M83 from mdi but nothing happened
Do you have a manual that specifies what M82 is used for?
Stevo
yes 82 : arm forward
83 : arm backward
i tried to press on the air switch manually the arm(cursle) worked will
but in mdi or m6 nothing happened
See if power is switching to the relay and then via the relay to the solenoid that controls the pneumatic valve for M82. The error would probably be due to a proximity switch not being made in a timely manner that confirms the action launched by M82 has been completed.

Bill
Hello, Just guessing but since you just changed the spindle bearings. Look to see if the spindle is trying to orient. A prox.switch is often used to check that. M19 and M20 are often used as commands. Does the spindle even try to orient? Fanfan
where exactly in the macro does it stop?
In MDI, M81 M82 M83 cannot be commanded without calling M86 before
M86 enable ''tool change function''
M87 end of tool change.
I have an hardinge vmc 1000 with fanuc 0M-D i think it is almost exactly the same machine. But maybe what i said does not make sense for you.
On my machine, no matter if orientation is not set correctly, the carousel can go out. But if the Z axis is not at the home or the second reference point(G30). The carousel can't go out. There is a switch that confirm z axis is at the second reference. On my machine, it is input X20.3 but i don't know if the similitude between our two machine is extended to the ladder.
If you have the electric diagram, find the output to activate the solenoid valve for the carousel, and in the ladder, find the row that activate this output, you will see what is missing to activate the valve
