Folks, I'm sure this is something simple the tI'm overlooking, but I'm having an issue figuring out why interpolation G codes on my machine are halting. Something must be overriding the federate, but I'm at a loss for what. Machine lock is off, FRO is set at 100%, feed stop isn't active. G00 motion work just fine, but G01 halts. looking at the active modal G commands that could affect this: Machine is referenced, no alarms or estops G17 is active (XY Plane selected) G90 is active (absolute coordinates) G94/G98 are active (feed per minute selected) Assuming I'm at 0,0,0 in the current workpiece offset (G54) The following command begins execution and you can see the cycle time counting up, but there is no corresponding motion on the machine. G01 X10.000 Y10.000 F40; Any ideas what other "stuff" could cause the interpolation federate to be overridden? I'm assuming this is what is happening, but I can't quite figure out what is holding the federate at zero. I even started up the spindle to see if somehow the federate was being used as a feed per revolution, no dice... Thanks for any insight. |

| New to Fanuc, so forgive me for the beginner stuff. I know that for coordinates, failing to put in a decimal point tells the machine that the measurement is in base units (0.0001 if I recall). I take it this isn't the case for feedrates, because the machine didn't even move a tenth after sitting for a few minutes while I was scratching my head. I thought I had tried it with a decimal as well, but haven't been in front of the machine since this morning. I'll try it again with a decimal point and hopefully it is something that stupid. |

| I've just been doing some initial testing on the machine (it was a used CNC from a surplus dealer, so I'm going over it with a fine-toothed comb). I'm issuing single blocks from the MDI to check out the mechanical side of things. I haven't gotten to the point of loading up a test program to run yet. |

| I guess the next step is to backtrack the signals in the ladder to see what the heck is going on. This is a Router that I picked up as surplus. The ladder could include some customizations that make the machine behave unexpectedly based on it being coded for a specific purpose. |
