Hello,
One of the machines I run is an old Tsugami swiss with a Fanuc LE control. It similar to a 16i. Anyways the machine is from 96' and most of the time when its powered down it it has this problem:
When you power it back up all the servo motors power up in alarm state (all 7). The alarm says "401 Servo motor: vrdy off".
from reading the manual the Vrdy is the ready signal it sends to the control. anyways this is very annoying as the machine must be powered off any time you hit Estop. id say 60% of the time when you power it back up it has this problem. The only thing you can do to fix this is wait or power it on and off repeatedly which is very annoying.
So, has anyone else had this problem?
Is there anything I can do to fix it?
Is there a parameter to override this alarm?
other thoughts?
Thanks!

we have a similar problem with a few machines at my work. we leave them on.... problem solved
our problem is with servo control board. yours may be similar. either replace it or fix it. or ignore it like we do.
