New to the forum, but not to forums in general, so dont hesitate to be harsh if needed.

My company just purchased a used Chevalier FSG-B818CNC Surface Grinder (from the mid-90's). It has a FANUC O-M control on it. I have a little professional CNC experience but not a ton, especially not troubleshooting.

Upon turning on the controller, the ALARM lamp goes on the top of the machine, but when I go to the ALARM message screen, nothing appears. I manually generated an "overtravel" alarm just to make sure I COULD get something on that screen, which I then cleared. I am not locked out of jogging the machine manually. There is a flickering light on the top of the control 'box' (not sure if thats the right term) that looks to be indicating that its part of the lube system. The system has an adequate amount of oil. Here is the light I am referring to...

Please forgive me if this is not the appropriate place to post this, I did not see a sub-form for Chevalier machines, or even surface grinders at all. Thanks in advance...
