NEED HELP I have a Ikeigai L20 with a rotary inductosyn mounted on the spindle. I can't clear an 446 alarm which is a disconnection alarm. I've replaced add/inductosyn card, checked cables, etc. Checked with ocilloscope inductosyn signals that arent there at test points. This machine is worth a good effort. Question, can i replace industosyn card with resolver/add.axis card and mount a resolver on spindle for positional data on C-3rd axis? Anybody know of 6t repair guys on west coast, ca. area?

As far as I know (will check Thursday) the board IS a resolver/inductosyn card.
You may have a scale problem. Spindle encoders may not have a sufficient number of pulses, depending on how you use the rotary table.
