Need Help!- Fanuc 16 i MB PCMCIA Card

Hello,

I am trying to use the PCMCIA port on this machine to load programs. Everytime I try and access the card the machine alarms out with "930 CPU Interrupt" and requires a restart to clear.

The same card setup works in a different machine, and I set the I/O Channel to "4" per the instructions. I also set the enable paramater, I beleive #138.

Any help would be greatly apreciated.

Early I controls would not read ata flash cards. SRAM cards only. I had the same issue when they first came out working at the mori dealer.

some i controls won't read cards greater than 512M. I've used 64M and 128M cards on my 21i without any problems but a 2G card does not work.
parameter 138 only enables DNC operation from the card but there are other settings required for it to work. enabling 138 bit 7 alone is not enough. the DNC hardware options are also required but you don't need it anyway. setting the I/O device to 4 is enough to enable the card slot.
