| Hi all, I have Fanuc α series (22,30) servo and α15 spindle motors. Is it possible to control them with different brand drives? (Delta, Panasonic etc.) Have you ever experienced this kind of situation? P.S: Drives must support analog control because of the host controller. |

| It all depends on the encoder style fitted, Fanuc uses a unique style of commutation, so any drive would need to use some kind of pole detection and then sync to the encoder. Al.
