MAKINO horizontal machining center in which made in Japan, model number MC98, system with FANUC15-MB + External config PLC fitting: MPC2. The MPC2 was made up by 2 CPUs, one is MAIN CPU (A16B-1000－0110); another one is SUB CPU (A20B-1000-0550). And now the situation is the saving data of MPC2 was lost because of battery problem. PAL fault indicating lamp of MAIN CPU was on, can not open PLC system to adjust data (power off of when pressing NC/PC), anyone who can help me pls kindly advise, looking forward to hear from you soon!  |

| kisssj I ran a Makino vertical 20 some years ago, and I believe you can replace the battery by opening the back cover plate on the control unit. You may have lost the program you were working on, but it should probably restore the defaults. good luck! bobz |
