Hello
I have Gildemeister NEF 400 with Fanuc Mate TS ( very old system ) please help me with data transfer between laptop and machines

the method and cable must be similar or identical to standard rs232 cnc hook-up.
you may need to check some parameters but because your control is not common without a manual it will be almost impossible with no parameter list. its possible the communication parameter numbers are the same as 10t/12t/15t/16t etc.

There is usually another character used in the designation of the Mate control, ie O-Mate. Do you have any other identifiers of your control? When the control is booting, you should see the control model displayed.

have you made a standard rs232 cable yet?
if not you can not go further until you make a cable, plug it in and at least try it with common transfer software.
the control looks like older Fanuc 3000C control. it is possible to use rs232 connector to punch/read.
