Hello Mates! Im operating a Victor V26 of Fanuc Oi TB series, having problem with the WORKSHIFT assignement format or command. Just like on other machines, i will face the workpiece with the roughing tool, and move up the tool on the X axes, open the WORKSHIFT page, go the Z post and press; MZ0 input, or Z0 MEASURE (Soft key). Here is the problem; when assigning the GEOMETRY offset, the Z0 MEASURE (Soft key) option works perfectly. But when i open the WORKSHIFT page and input that format (command), the MEASURE (soft key) doesnt appear. Surely im missing up something. Would someone help me with the correct format of the WORKSHIFT on Fanuc Oi TB. Thanks in advance. |

| you're obviously used to some other controls like Fanuc 10/11/12/15/16/18 series. On 0i series there is no measure to set the workshift. Move your workshift setting tool to the face. We will call it Z0 position. Go to workshift page and on the right side you will see MEASUREMENT and a X and Z. Put the cursor on the Z and type 0 and press INPUT On the left side the workshift Z SHIFT VALUE number will change. Your workshift is now set so the face is Z0 If you need to move it in some amount (say 1.0mm) simply put the cursor on the Z SHIFT VALUE (left side of screen) and type your shift amount and press INPUT+ (i.e. 1.0 INPUT+) |
