FANUC 6M Program format

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone here can give me the program format. i.e.

ToolChange needs, offsets etc.
For example our 0M needs this:

G0G91G28Z0
T1 M6
S1000M3
G0G90G54X0Y0
G43H1Z1.0
...

can someone translate this to 6M?

thanks

Pretty much the same thing. But when it comes to tool change, you have to determine what the machine needs which is independant of the control. There may be a G30 position for the Z axis to line up with the tool change arm. Does the 6M have fixture offsets, if not then you will probably have to use G92 to set program zero.

A program's "Format" is highly dependant on the machine tool, not just the control model.

Actually, it's for a Prototrac, it says in the manual that it supports 6M format
