Hello, I was wondering if anyone here can give me the program format. i.e. ToolChange needs, offsets etc. For example our 0M needs this: G0G91G28Z0 T1 M6 S1000M3 G0G90G54X0Y0 G43H1Z1.0 ... can someone translate this to 6M? thanks |

Pretty much the same thing. But when it comes to tool change, you have to determine what the machine needs which is independant of the control. There may be a G30 position for the Z axis to line up with the tool change arm. Does the 6M have fixture offsets, if not then you will probably have to use G92 to set program zero. A program's "Format" is highly dependant on the machine tool, not just the control model. Chris |
