| What axes are you working with? Have you not simply copied the contour figure you used to mill the od? Have you specified a convex (not concave) figure? What angle are you arcing to? Have you tried a 'vertical' approach/escape? What difference does altering the cutter offset/chamfer size make? Has the figure got enough 'depth/height' from base position to accommodate the cut depth? Well there's some wild stabs in the dark.... ![]() DP |

| i am running a horizontal boring mill using x and y .i have tried diffrent angles with no changes also this program starts at -90 and most other either start at 0 or give you a option where to start this dosen't is that normal .i have had no formal training on it so i am kinda struggling on some things thanks for the reply |
