Fanuc ott 434, 444 axis detect error | | Hi all,
Some of you may have seen all my problems in other posts with my 3 wasio lathes.
On the one I have working right now which was the only one that wasn't put together when I bought it, I get 2 alarms when I turn it on at the beginning of the day. 434, and 444 axis detect error. The 3rd and 4th axis on the one side of the machine are for the robot loader. I can make the machine work by unplugging the 2 cables off the servo amp while it's powered down and plug them back in. Then, I won't have those errors again until I power it up the next day. What is going on here? It work but it's a bit of a PITA. Also, on this machine, I can't run it with the rapid on. As soon as I take the rapid off SETUP and put it in 25, 50 or 100%, the program stops. Once I put it back to setup, I can hit the cycle start button and continue the program. I'm interested to see what these problems could be. Thanks in advance,
One more thing, on my other lathe, I get a P/S 087 alarm when I send anything to it. I can receive information from the lathe to the computer but I can't send to it. All my communication settings are the same on the lathes and match the computer, but can't send to the one. I read one other post about a guy who had the same alarm on a fanuc OM and it was a $1.50 chip burned out on is board. I'm guessing at this point, I have the same problem because lowering baud rates on the computer and machine don't have any effect and like I said before, I set all the communication settings the same on the 2 lathes but one works and one doesn't. Thanks again,
