Have a 15M that threw a SV009 Z EXCESS ERROR (MOVING) this afternoon. As I understand it, this is an alarm when the Z axis moves past the home switch and physicallly runs into the upper or lower screw support. I can not clear the alarm using the overtravel buttom and the axis buttom. Does anyone know what needs to be done to clear this so I can continue? R. Wink

| that alarm occurs when the difference between the actual axis position and the commanded position while moving, exceeds an amount set by a parameter. This may be caused by over travel, but is in general caused by: wrong encoder feedback (mainly mechanical) control problem wrong parameter servo problem wiring problem Other problems may be possible. |

| It ended up being past the upper home positions switch. Switched to super slow speed, held the over travel pver-ride button and finally moved the Z axis into contact with the switch. Pushing the rested cleared the alarm and it's beed working fine since. Thanks for the help. R. Wink
