Need Help!- Fanuc 31i personal computer function

Hello all

The new Fanuc 30 series has some software tools that can be used

I am particularly interested in the personal computer functions with windows os

I understand that there are two options, personal computer function with windows XP and personal computer function with windows CE

If you have a 31i-B5 control, does anyone know if any of the above functions can be added to it, in the field.

From what I remember, and our new Mori's use windows, the standard i series had the control mounted right behind the screen, as an all in 1 unit. The Mori's and other machines we have that have a PC front end, use a stand alone fanuc in the electrical cabinet. I think they are designated as a 310i, 180i, etc., but i'm not positive.
