Need Help!- Fanuc 16-TT metric to standard

We have a Fanuc 16-TT and we are trying to change mm to inches. According to the info I have it is parameter 0000 bit #2 INI. We now have a "0" which is metric and it needs to be a "1" for inches. I have changed the PWE to enable but cannot get the bit changed. How do I change from mm to inches on a Fanuc 16-TT???

Machine is down so any help will be greatly appreciated!

I also tried changing it in the "offset setting" under input unit. What do you mean by password? I know what a password is, but can you give a better description or step by step? Thank you.

Have you tried entering a "G21" in MDI mode? That should change the input unit from inch to metric, and also the position displays.

Thanks Dan. What screen do I need to be in to do that? I selected MDI mode and enter G21 under program. Is that correct?

You should be able to just change it in the setting page. Remember you need to be in mdi to do it.

I had to change parameter 1004, bit 0 to 1 before it let me do anything. Thanks all!!!
