    HT20 TURRET ENCODER PROBLEM

    IHAVE A HITACHI SIEKI HT20 WITH A fanuc10TF control The turret indexing encoder Part Number IP112S105R is damaged and unrepairable. can anyone help with a new or second hand one or a damaged one that i can get the light receivers from.

    You should be able to sub it with another model/make.
    Is it a through hole or a shaft encoder?

    HT20 encoder

    IT is a 10 mm dia.shaft encoder but it is a special made for HITACHI seiki.
    12 position binery with 3 strobes. not shure what the strobes do, I think they slow the turret as it reaches its position.
