Does anyone happen to have the procedure for resetting the reference position on a 18i control? I misplaced my MTB manual. I had to replace the drive one of our Toshiba TSN20 VTL’s and it does not have the proper position. The machine has absolute encoders so the machine does not have to be referenced but it does however have the ability to reference it if you choose to. I want to make these 2 positions 1 in the same. Thanks guys. Stevo |

| Quick question for you Dave. I used the following from the 18i manual and it worked for X-axis but not the Z-axis. The Z appears to be off by .125 in the tool change position but the X is now spot on. It is up and running as I just adjusted the tool change position parameter in the PMC data so all is well but I was just wondering why the Z did not reset. I would like to make it correct but this will do for now and the incorrect positioning will be taken up when I redo the tool offsets. Thanks for the info, Stevo |
