Help Needed Connecting a Fanuc Oi-Tc to an FTP client

I have connected a new lathe to a PC via a router. I need to transfer files to it via an FTP client (in this case its Flash FXP).
I have put in all the correct details for the FTP connection (IP Address, Port N0, Username and Password).

I can ping the IP address and I get a positive reply but when I try and connect through Flash FXP it won’t connect! My laptop has Windows 7 on it as well. Not that it should matter, I’ve connected to FTP sites before on it using the same FTP client.

Use TYPSoft FTP server , choose the "without install" version.

for win 7 also u have to enable the FTP in IIS settings. after that u can transfer the files thru FTP.

Why should the ISS settings matter when I have been using FTP in the past.

Not that it should matter, I’ve connected to FTP sites before on it using the same FTP client.

Ensure that you set a user/password all in CAPS and set a home dir

I use filezilla it is quite simple to set up FTP

Also ensure your firewall for port 21 is switched off !
