| The physical output will be a Yxxx.x The R is an internal register bit, you should see another string with the R in as part of the logic. Al.

| yeah i do al, but i need that register bit turned on before output y2.2 is turned on. ---//log1-------------------(r0040.0) the circuit is complete right to the register bit but that wont change state of the other bits in the ladder labelled r0040.0 |

| Sounds like you are looking at a coil that is located in a "jump" location in the ladder logic. (PLC) You can write a function block to jump around parts of the ladder. Even if all conditions are correct the coil stays off. Look for a function block labeled JMP before that coil. It can be several rungs above it. If that is not it then you can have sub programs in the ladder that run only if the call function is active. This is a function block labeled CALL sub 65. Another way they can do this if the coil is used more than once. Search for the coil again and see if it only shows up there. And finally you can turn on and off the coil thew upper level language such as C-Language or Macro Executor. Good luck |
