Fanuc 10TF alarm on input unit

Hey Fanuc guys,

Our Fanuc 10TF will not power on the CRT. The PIL lamp is ON on the Input Unit but when we power on the CRT, the red ALARM led comes on and the control with not come on.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Power Supply on Master pcb? 24vdc short somewhere?

Please advise.

Hey guys,

I found my problem. When we tried to turn on the CRT, the red alarm led would light on the INPUT UNIT.

I swapped POWER UNITS (Master pcb power supply) with another machine and the CRT came up normally.

Faulty POWER UNIT.
