Anyone drip feed from the FA card? I never really used my FA card slot because I couldnt find the cards. Then I tried CF cards and they wouldnt work either. It ended up being a bad Card slot. $44 from Fanuc... CF or FA cards seem to work fine now. However I wanted to DNC from it and almost all the posts say that you cannot do it. You have to do a M198 call. But I found out that with a few Parameter changes and finding out where the button for remote was it works great. Machine has a 21i MA but it should work on all the i series at least.  |

| Thanks. But I got it to work. The thing is that when I bought the machine new in 2000 that I was told that DNC from the FA card was an option and I didnt buy it. So I just used Serial DNC when I had a large file. But today it seems like ALL files are large so I wanted to use the FA card. Well, it works now. Not a problem at all. |
