| The machine and the controller are rock solid - basic G-code machines and hold accuracies well. But the manuals are very weak. Hopefully you have good support for programming examples. If not, drop me a line and I will help where I can. If you are running the machine in metric, you should not have any issues with the tailstock macros. Otherwise, there are a couple of bugs with them as well. I don't believe there is manual guide I in the Oi-T controls. If there is , it will be significantly different than what you are used to using - I know they had a dumbed down version for the Oi-M controls. I recommend a CAM package for all my customers anyway as I don't feel Manual Guide I is that intuitive to use. Plus, CAM does not care what the controller wants - it posts out equally well for any controllers you may buy in the future. |
