Problem- Fanuc 11M Check Instruction during boot

Hello all,
I have a Mori Seiki MV 80 with a Fanuc 11M control.I have replaced the master board but during boot all I get on crt is a check instruction meassage with a lot of hex addresses. I am assuming this to be a rom/ram board issue or even software related. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

what does the motherboard led read?
Did you check jumpers on the new board?
Does it come on in IPL mode?

Motherboard status is "E" on 7 segment led.
Jumpers on new board are the same as old board.
I can get to IPL mode but not by the usual means of "-" + "." only by pressing the reset button?

your problem could be the BMU, powersupply or almost anything. Why was the mother board replaced?

This control has several boards connected, Add. axis, Cassette, Rom/Ram, bmu, I have removed the bmu board as well as the add. axis cards and still the same problem. The masterboard was replaced because it was showing an "8" on 7 segment led.

Here are some more.
"I have removed the bmu board as well as the add. axis cards and still the same problem". Do you mean that these boards were swapped with known good ones?
Was the new bmu properly initialised? Are the power supply voltages correct?
What does the IPL screen show?
