I have a lathe with a 0T-c data server. I is set up correctly and has been working for 2 years. The operator left last week and we do not know how to transfer programs to the CNC. I can get the program to the data server with the "get" command. I can see it on the data server (ATA) card. How do I transfer it to the CNC control to run the program? |

| Hello Scott, once you have the program on the Data server, ( make sure I/O Channel is set to 5) 1. set the operation mode to EDIT, 2. press PROG to display the program screen, 3. input an O-number press softkey READ 4. press softkey EXEC, the blinking INPUT is an indication that the file is being loaded onto the main memory. Hope this is of help, Marco. |

| the Text in your files should look something like % O0100 (Program Test) ... M30 % This O# is what you need, the comment in brackets are usually to write a description of your program when they are in the same line that you O#, the other way is by calling your file number unfortunatelly I don't have the format to read the file using that command. Also if you run M198 P# (MDI or inside a main program) the machine runs the program directly from your data server. Good luck. |

1. I/O # 5 2. Program (right arrow key) 3. Host--Oprt--Board [this showed the programs] 4. #1 [or the number in the list you want] (two times push the arrow) 5. Get. This downloaded from the computer to the data server [in the control] Now from the data server to the active program memory. 1. program 2. HD-Dir 3. Three times the arrow key 4. Read 5. #1 (or the number on the screen)read-exec The # is a list number on the screen ont the program #, When you call the program into the control it will take the O number in the () program. Thanks for your info it is what make me look there. |
