Build Thread- wireless communication with CNC

Hi

I use "Open Communications for FANUC CNC" to load and download part programs with all FANUC CNC models.

With older CNC, I use serial communication RS232 while in the new ones I use Ethernet connection (more powerful and faster).
I can load and download programs from the PC side and also from the CNC side with "CNC server mode" menu selection , I find this operation mode very useful.

The latest version of program offers a "wireless communication" PC - CNC even with serial communication RS232.
This should be a great improvement to integrate all the CNCs in a local network.

Has anybody tried wireless communication with CNC?.

Yes, been around for quite a few years actually. Works well, Spektrum CNC sells it, so does Refresh Your Memory. Seen both, both are fine.
