Buy me a Beer?

How come you did not have every thing backed up?
Fanuc will be of no use as they do not commission the machine, it will be up to Denford Triac or some one with the same machine.

pakistan...guessing not much local fanuc support...good luck finding the oem, or a twin machine, afraid pretty much screwed otherwise- youll have to have a tech setup the parameters to the machine, decipher the schematics and write a ladder for it(time consuming- hopefully youve at least got the ladder printout). have heard of machines being put out to pasture just due to lost ladders more than once. dont be too mad at whoever deleted it- eventually it was bound to happen due to a glitch or dead battery...folks never realize how important machine backups are till its too late

we had some LITZ 21m machines, months after getting them the factory emailed they didnt have a copy of the ladder, to back it up immediately.
luckily we had just bought FLADDERII for adding some barfeeders to a line of lathes... I really hated those machines, we sent most of them back before uncrating- if they chattered in aluminum they would get some disconnection alarms in the servos...they couldnt fix it, fanuc couldnt fix it...apparently the chatter frequency was a harmonic of the encoder update frequency and it was misreading...another reason I'm such a 'hater' of serial feedback...realtime quadrature never lies.

thank u so much guyz for ur support nd time..!!!!

u see there are some NC Basic files that let us enter the parameters.....but unfortunately these have been deleted....nd have disabled all keys

SRAM256.FDB is the type of file required along with files like PMC0BSC etc.

if anyone has got these files or has a fanuc control...plz send me these files....plz...my whole carrier depends on it!!!

What model of control is this?
FS21iMA or FS21iMB.

Do you have a serial number and year of manufacture?
Try to locate the data sheet for the control which at least will give a better perception on the configuration of the control, installed software and options.
As far as options go, you will need FANUC to install them if the control was manufactured after April 2006. This is where most of us are screwed working outside the inner circle of the FANUC vectors.

You need the servo software, NC Basic, Graphic, Ethernet etc. etc. etc. BTW you are fortunate with the FS-21iM, it has less than 20 files; the FS-0iMD has close to 64 files.

I can probably help with some of the files but you will still need the PMC (Ladder) and the parameters for the CNC and PMC. Hopefully you don't need macro programs for ATC or APC.

Best possible thing you can do is to ship the control to a CNC service company or better yet, the Machine Builder and let him/her/them reconfigure the software etc.

What exactly do you do to lose to the files ? Fanuc executive, ladder files etc are store in FROM, not easy to delete.
Are you sure you have not just deleted the SRAM ?

@hrh:
the control is FS21i-MA....im attaching a pic of further details

i'll appreciate if u could provide us with those files u have got....as far as parameters are concerned....denford has provided some of them

@Les Robbins
the lab engr first deleted the SRAM accidently by holding RESET+DELETE key.....then he tried to recover it himself but in doing so he initialized Flash ROM....thus deleting all system files

That's bad !!!

Your only option really is to find a donor machine, Denford should be able to supply SRAM backup and ladder but they will not be able to supply fanuc executive files.

Good luck

problem is, he needs everything- ladder, parameters, etc are unique to each
OEM/machine... has to get it from a exact same type machine or the OEM, or hes pretty much screwed. a rewrite is possible, but its just not something 99.9999% of folks could do on their own. even simply modifying the ladder/parameters from even a kinda similar machine from the same OEM might not be a quick job.

also, might want to keep in mind that some 4/5 axis stuff might not be legal for export to certain countries too...I know years back there was a lot of restrictions on what could go where...not sure about 4 axis, but definitely some 5 axis/hispeed/NURBS stuff was not allowed by some international treaties to be shared with certain parts of the world, but lately a awful lot of bankruptcy auctions in the USA were bought up by Chinese/Asian dealers(ask about any US machine dealers), chances are those guys will resell anywhere...
