anyone from TOPY wheel? looking for OKK info

we got a bunch of OKK MPH-400 machining centers from the TOPY wheel plant auction in Kentucky, looking for any documentation- parts/service manuals are out of print according to our OKK rep (we did buy electrical).

4th axis parts list would be great- the table locks are a little worn on a couple, not sure if it would be cheaper to buy or make the parts needed...never saw a compressible ring clamp on a rotary before.
these were pretty cool old machines, we did a LOT of guard sectioning so things were more maintenance friendly, a little rewire to pull the PLCs out, added some wiring/hydraulics for ATC manual fwd/rev recovery, decent doors, cut the ladder program almost in half, minor rebuilding and paint, some rails and spindle bearings, theyre really nice...cant believe theyre 21 years old

if we ever buy any more old machining centers to redo, I hope they're like these old OKKs. Weve had tons of varied machine makes, these are the best Ive seen in a lot of ways...they had some issues but I think we worked out most of what we needed to pretty easily. nice simple/logical wiring on 0-B controls...wish we had more of them.
We got a bunch of Okuma/Mori/other stuff I wish we could gut. after working with them a while, not a big fan of Mitsubishi or Okuma controls- or overly complex Fanuc installations...I wish Mits would emulate the Fanuc Zero with their M64 - nice control but everyone in the shop hates the frontend. the almost invisible lcd screens on the MSC518 (fanuc 18) and Okumas are so hard to see, gotta wonder what they were thinking back then...everyone hates those screens, we got about a dozen of them now...

OKK (6M) or is 8M (8 hole turret) I helped retrofit in the mid 90's was, and still is, a nice piece of hardware.
Solid workhorse. Only the fine magnetically operated clutches in the head were a problem - split one, and welded it back together. Make sure the lube system is always working, with an alarm to detect failure.
Some of the old limit switches become a bit unreliable. Always use failsafe circuitry. The old controller was dumped because all the diodes, amongst other thing s were literally falling apart.
Flick a blob shaped diode and only the wires would remain while the blob went airborne.
Replaced the control with a BOSCH CC120, and a 15KW VFD for the spindle. Encoders on the servos with screw mapping. Damn solid stuff.
