FANUC 18iT, muting the lamp

How do you mute the lamp on the top of the machine? I'm not sure what this lamp is called in English (patrol lamp?) but the one I'm talking about is burning green during running of a program, yellow at the stop of a program and red when there's somekind of an alarm. We don't like the noise it keeps making. Can you mute the thing changing some parameter value or how do you do it? (The lathe in question is Samsung PL-60 Turning Centre.)

Hi...I'm presuming you mean the Patlite signal tower which indicates machine status. There are a couple of ways..either check if the MTB put a keep relay in the PMC ladder to turn the outputs to the Patlite on/off. Turn this off or better still, take the common power supply to the Patlite off (USUALLY +24V). Either way you will need to check your machines electrical wiring diagram. If you just want to isolate the buzzer and not the lights, check the wiring and remove one of the wires to the buzzer module...
