Can someone look to see why this code doesnt work for a 10tf fanuc?

Ok, I got my Hitachi Seiki lathe up and running now, and am able to send code to the machine. I sent this code, but it does not work.

First thing is that it just turns the turret one position, each time you start the program, rather than going to the same tool every time.

Next thing is that everytime it gets to this line

    G0 G54 X-.0136 Z.0882

It just goes idle, the cycle start light is still on, but it doesnt move, and just stays.

Any ideas on what I should modify in the post? Does the 10 accept a G18 code?

are your g54 presets ok with those numbers? not sure if you tell it to move past a stroke limit if it will go or not...what is 'distance to go' on the position screen?

on the turret moving one station, I'd look to see the pc parameters are set right...like a 8 station turret probably has a 8 station counter or data table or something- if its set to zero or one, it might get a little lost ...

pc parameters are dictated by the ladder- no way of knowing without seeing a printout. some machines also use a external plc- we had some hitachi seikis with a external 'seicos' plc- what a P.O.S. that was...totally unnecessary, but was hitachis way of insuring service work I guess...
