how to check if it'is the IGBT. Can i replace only the transistor or it is easier to ship the amplifier to fanuc and buy a new one?
could it be caused by anything else outside the spindle amplifier module. If I change all the module, can i be sure that it will fix my proplem. Do you have a shematic of the amplifier(A06B-6082-H211#h512) What is the firing board?
The IGBT can usually be checked with a meter for shorts, I have replaced them only to have them blow as soon as power up, they are not cheap, so now I just send them in for a complete check including the firing board.
There is North American Industrial in Mississauga that repair them.

changed igbt and it works again.

O Alarm 409 no spindle serial se refere a comunicacao entre o spindle e a fonte ou o spindle e o cnc.
