The following parameters have to be set at the control and a cable configured as shown, made or bought. The cable is simple to make; use shielded cable having at least 3 wires.

Your control should have a TAPE mode. You use this mode when drip feeding (DNC) to the control. The PC software usually has a DNC mode as opposed to just Send Mode. Get the PC side ready to DNC, select TAPE mode at the control and press cycle start to run the program. All functions such as Optional Stop, Single Block, Feed Hold, Block Delete ect, all work as per normal. The only limitation is that if the program uses Sub Programs, the Subs have to be registered in the memory of the control.
