AA Electronic Repair - Home
Hi everyone, I'm hoping that someone here can help identify a part in my OKUMA Fanuc A06B-6055-H208 spindle drive unit. I shorted and had to replace 2 of the transistor modules (TM-1 and TM-4 both second half shorted). I managed this but in the process noticed that one of a pair of small components bridging C1 to C2 and E1 to E2 of TM-4 had broken. I do not know what these are. I think they are varistors but do not know what value they might be.
Does anyone here have an idea what my replacement part might be? Visually, it's an axial component about 1/8" white spherical in Dia. with an orange end and 4 green dots on the white side. Spindle drive is in an '88 OKUMA LB15.
Thanks for any and all help!

Yes,
Believe it or not, I called Fanuc FA and gave them the Drive# and the location of the component in question and they gave me both the Fanuc Part# for it and what the component is.
2amp 600volt diodes. I bought them for peanuts on Ebay. I haven't finished the repair yet or the new 4/4 line down to my barn for the Okuma LB15.
Everything should be buttoned up by the end of the week at which time I'll check back in.
Thanks for the inquiry.
