Dear friends, how to enable the character extension soft key (C-EXT) in fanuc O-TD controller. because i cant able to find the C-EXT soft key in edit screen. so i want to type the title blocks to my program. Regards, keyan |

| The 0i-D Parameter manual only lists the following parameter to enable you to enter parenthesis when you have the small MDI keyboard: 3204 bit 0 PAR When a small MDI unit is used, characters "[" and "]" are: 0: Used as "[" and "]". 1: Used as "(" and ")". |

And on the 0i-C, 3204 bit 2 EXK enables the C-EXT function. But keyan said he has a 0T-D, not a 0i-series. I can't find any reference to the C-EXT function in the 0T-C or 0T-D parameter manuals. I'm thinking this wasn't available on the 0T-C or D models. |

| I misread your control type. I do not know of a method of entering parenthesis with a 0-TD. Brute force method of entering parenthesis is to output the part program to a computer, edit in the parens, and transfer it back to the CNC. |
