Need Help! PMC ladder flash bit - CNCzone.com-The Largest Machinist Community on the net!

Can anyone tell me if a Fanuc 18 control has a flash bit in the PMC ladder? Similar to a PLC. I am wanting to make one of the status indicating lights flash off and on. Thank you in advance for your help.

Either way, you can set up a timer flasher if you want a general flash bit.
You will need to modify the PMC for what you want to do.

R9091 has the cyclic signals you need.

bit 5: 200msec period (104msec ON, 96msec OFF)

bit 6 : 1 sec period (504msec ON, 496msec OFF)
