Brackets

Another question about my 18T control.

When I try to add a note with brackets in a program at the machine the control won't accept it.
Is there a parameter that enables this feature.
I can upload a program from my laptop with brackets but I can't add any at the machine.

I bought this machine used, thought maybe the PO disabled brackets.
I don't have the parameter manual.

Do you know if it's an 18T-A or 18T-B?

I assume by "brackets" you mean parentheses ()? Brackets [] are used for User Macro programs.

This is from the 18T-B parameter manual. I'm not sure if it applies to the 18T-A or not; no guarantees...
