| On 0i controls, rigid mode can be selected either by commanding M29 (which is the number stored in parameter 5210 in the range 0 to 255. If 0 or 29 is stored, M29 selects the rigid mode) in or before the tapping block, or by setting parameter 5200#0 to 1, which would always use rigid mode for G84/G88. You can also have peck rigid tapping, with a Q-word, and parameter 5104#6 set to 1. See the attachment for some more information, with regard to 0i controls. Your control may have similar things. |
