18i parameter issues

greetings, we recently had a machine rebuilt and unfortunately it hat sat so long the battery had died and the parameters were lost. the most recent backup was from 2006. to make things worse the tech did some adjustments before the old ones were loaded in. i am doing a side by side compare of the parameters now and im seeong that the new parameters have a field for "A5" in avery parameter that were previously only "A1" through "A4" where does this come from? im trying to figure out what i actually need to change and its difficult with so many extra fields. if there is an easy way to remove what im assuming are parameters for a fifth axis it would be very helpful in finding what information is pertinant. i have attached a screen shot of what im seeing. i welcome any suggestions or input, thanks!

A5 means other axis. You have to check them with fanuc parameter manual.

Parameter 1010 is the "Number of CNC-Controlled Axes". Check and see if it's set to 5. If you change this, you'll have to cycle power.

turns out that the tool changer is controlled as an axis in this machines configuration. the parameters had not been backed up since before the 4th axis had beed added. so i know why there are more axes now, but ive got my work cut out for me in trying to sort this mess. thanks for your help!
