Need Help!- Delete program on Fanuc 21i-T ?

hello from France
I work with a recently bought Colchester lathe.
It is equipped with its original GE Fanuc 21i-TA CNC.
This lathe is a Model TORNADO
Serial # T80 342
600 Lathe T80 342/247
Year of built : 1998
Wiring diagram T80-054-0-031
GE Fanuc Series 21i-TA

I don't know how to cancel definitively programs (to erase them in order to save room on inner memory).
This is how I tried :
Protection key on "OFF" position
- EDIT mode
- I opened the program I want to cancel. By instance : O 0001
- I pressed on OPRT key
- I pressed on DELETE key
- I pressed on EXEC key

and then... nothing happened. Even no error message.
Was there anything I did wrongly ?
Any idea ?

O-9999
DELETE
EXEC - Will delete all unprotected programs in memory.

DIR key
write the name of the program you want delete ex.O0001
delete key
confirm with exec key

should work.
