I have a extra drive A06B-6089-H105 that I would like to build a motor test bench to test CNC motors on. This drive has its own power supply in it all I should need to do is jump out the feedback and the control voltage. I do not want to test the encoder just the moter. Is there a way to disable the feedback? What is it looking for from the control to run +- 10vdc? Any help would be great. |

| The product you have (A06B-6089-Hxxx) is a FANUC digital alpha SVU amplifier. It can only work with a FANUC interface CNC or PLC controller. It is basically a power amplifier with some alarm detection and discharge capability. Most conventional amplifiers contain the current loop and velocity loop and accept the velocity command signal ( + or - 10VDC for example). However, the current and velocity loops are actually closed in the control (CNC or PLC) but not within the product that you have. Depending on whether the DIP switch and signal connections to this amp are configured for Type A or Type B interface, your amp will accept 6 or 3 high frequency PWM signals that directly command the 6 transistors in the power section. This is not a general purpose amp and would only be useful to test FANUC motors if you had the controller that used the FANUC interface. |
