FANUC WEDM alarm 1087

FANUC ROBOCUT 180iS-W controller on WEDM

Keep getting alarm "1087" when I press cycle start. Don't know what caused it, resetting the controller doesn't clear it. I try to look up "alarm detail" but it has no information. When I look in the operators manual under the PMC alarm list, it skips from alarm 1083 to 1090. I couldn't find anything on google, please help!!!

As this is an OEM error and what seems to be a start precondition, have you asked Fanuc ?

This error could be almost anything external, pressure alarm, safety gate, lubrication, work sensing etc;

Go through all inputs and outputs you think may be a start precondition, and if you can find address 1087 in the PMC ladder, see if you can identify which condition is true/ false for cycle start.

I don't think it is a Fanuc alarm, it is a MTB alarm. You will probably have to contact them.
