| Some model Fanucs have a parameter for clearing them to null after M30 or reset and some do not. According the setting Dave has posted it is after reset but it says nothing about ending with M2 or end/rewind with M30. What you will probably have to do is run a program and try. #1=1 M30---then try M2 Do this with the parameter settings Dave gave you set both ways. Stevo |

| Local variables get reset (set to vacant) on power down or by reset depending on the parameter. Most often the PMC ladder (machine tool builder) will create a reset on M02/M30. Therefore, M02/M30 may (or most often) will reset the local variables based on the parameter. The 0-MD parameter was given previously. The test provided will of course disclose all. |
