Anybody know how to connect indexer through rs-232 port, indexer manual shows how on indexer end but I have know idea how to output data through port in automatic mode. controller is 11-m fanuc. Other question would be does controller wait for signal for indexer or do you program a pause?  |

| Not thru serial port. You need to use an "M" function relay. The relay sends a cycle start to the Haas, and depending on how you machine is configured and the Haas parameters are set you will either send back a acknowledge or a cycle complete signal. |

| 11M is too early for the Dprint statement to use the RS232 port. M code or make a plunger push button you can hit with a tool. |
