Need Help!- DGN parameters problem in Fanuc Otc

Dear All,

i Have i lathe machine with controller Fanuc Otc, i have delete all the parameters according to a problem happend to me.

then i have restored all parameters except DGN parameters because i restore it because a problem in RS232 port.

i have entered all parameters manually, and now i can not find the DGN parameters screen to enter it by hand.

so can anyone help me in details how to input or restore the DGN parameters and where to find it.

There should be a DGN/PRM key on the monitor or as a softkey. If not then you may want to double check your 900 parameters to make sure that you entered the proper values.

i found the DGN parameter screen, but i can't edit it by hand !!

i'm in MDI mode and PWE is 1 and i can't edit these parameters.

when i try to change the parameter, i type the new value and press input but nothing change and i did not receive any error message to know what is the wrong thing !!

key must be also on !!!!

i entered all other parameters !!!

all parameters have been entered except DGN option file.

note : Program protect is ON

all i want that : to enter this DGN file manually by (hand)

can you tell me witch number of diagnose you try to enter please , and what is the machine ? Please check diag 122#3 .

the machine is Yida cnc lathe - Fanuc 0tc

Ahmed there is a softkey under the CRT screen
the 300 to 450 diagnostics are very important for the machine operation they are put there by the machine builder.
They control such things as Turret, Chuck etc.

no one tell me till now, how to input these parameters by hand ?? that is all what i need

Ahmad…..sorry, I lost track of this thread. Looking at some old notes it appears that you need to set parameter 393.7 in order to edit the PMC data.

finally i got it, it's supposed to press "EOB" while inputting the parameters.
