The answer is "no," as I have been told, with the remark that a USB port is possible only on window-based controls. I was just wondering if it is possible to somehow attach some external gudget (Fanuc make or a third-party supply) to the CNC to allow the use of a pendrive for transfering programs?  |

| It's not at all possible. A USB device would require a driver. Fanuc won't let you add a driver. |

| Yeah, there are a few boxes like that. All go either into RS232 or ethernet. I have written some software for this. |
