How interchangable are fanuc servo amps? I have a 18m controller and want to add a 4th axis, but I am not sure if I have to use the same servo amp and the other 3 axis or if I can use a different model. Does anyone have a manual or something that has info on fanuc part numbers (what they mean) and compadability? Thanks Dave |

| You need to spec the amp against the required motor. Do you have a fanuc descriptions manual or functions manual? If not google it. So if your 4th axis motor is the same as anyothers, use the same amp and parameters. You might need some PMC mods too. |
