Amada Coma with Fanuc 04PC controller

There are 2 errors which which we are getting with the machine
    No.-222 +Y S LMT

And when we are correcting that error another error is occurring
    No.-220 +Y OT

These error are regarding some parameter settings, may be these error relates to PARAMETER numbers 81, 82, 83, 84.

Can you let us know what this error is and if we can find complete manual which will tell us what to do.

Alarm 222 is software overtravel 'the +Y stored stroke limit has been overstepped'. What condition caused this? Programing error? Jog error while zero referencing?
Alarm 220 is 'the +Y stroke limit switch has been activated'. In manual mode hold overtravel release until NC Ready indicator is on and jog the Y-axis using -Y jog button. Then reset to clear the alarm.
Be very cautious about changing parameters. Make a backup of parameters before you change anything. Parameters 82, 83, 84 are gridshift parameters for X, Y, T axis.

Amada Vipros 357 versus Amada Pega 357

    Hello,

I would like to know your opinion on these two machines: Amada vipros 357 and amada pega 357.

Which one is better, more friendly and easier to manage, less expensive maintenance, etc?

    Thanks!

I've never had a vipros only have a pega 344 so I can't tell you about those but I like my amada. It has served me well with the Mate and Wilson brand tooling I bought. I do a lot of flat pattern parts with it

The Vipros 357 is my choice.
The benefits of the PHNC hydraulic control makes for easier setup for marking, forming and embossing tools. The punch hover feature reduces run times on jobs.
I also have an Amada Vela 355 and Amada Aries 222. I would prefer the hydraulic punching machine instead of the flywheel type.
Downside is ~ $ 1.5k for filters and oil change each year.

Hello, I would like to know your opinion on these two machines: Amada vipros 357 and

    Hi
As per my opinion you just take a look of AC Servo machine insted of Hydraulic Servo b'coz Ac Servo is better for less power consumption, more productivity, more friendly and easier to manage, less expensive maintenance.

    Regards
